What to compare between panels
Per panel or per pallet
Panels can be ordered one at a time or as a full pallet. Pallet listings show the price per pallet and the equivalent price per panel, and their stock counts pallets.
N-type TOPCon
N-type TOPCon cells typically lose less output in heat and degrade more slowly than older P-type cells. Compare the temperature coefficient and the performance warranty on each datasheet rather than the label.
Bifacial and dual-glass
Bifacial modules also produce from light reflected onto their rear side, which pays off on ground mounts and light-coloured flat roofs; close to a pitched tile roof the gain is small. Dual-glass construction protects the cells on both faces.
